LOCATION
Located on Almadén Street, historically associated with the Travesía del Fúcar in the old "Trajineros" neighborhood. The area is now known as Las Letras, a name derived from the literary activity of the 16th and 17th centuries in Madrid, where the most important writers of the Spanish Golden Age lived, and where one can easily step back in time. A bohemian, romantic, and exquisite neighborhood, with cobblestone streets and plenty of charm. Almadén Street is very important in Madrid due to the history of the province of Ciudad Real, from which it takes its name. Ciudad Real received its title from Queen Isabella I of Castile between 1496 and 1498 and contributed greatly to the country's wealth. The apartment is located behind the Caixa Forum and the Art Foundation and Museum; it is two blocks from the Paseo del Prado and the Royal Botanical Garden, and just a few blocks from the Prado, Reina Sofía, and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums.
