Properties
DESCRIPTION
A charming, quiet, and bright apartment in Chueca, one of the city's most vibrant and multicultural neighborhoods, surrounded by culture, shops, and energy. Located on Pelayo Street, it's just steps from the metro and the San Antón Market, a haven of culinary delights and fresh produce. The apartment has been renovated with understated decor, carefully chosen for its colors and layout to create a very pleasant atmosphere. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's on the second floor (no elevator) of a classic building. Facing west, it receives afternoon sun. Upon entering, a hallway leads to the living/dining room with an open-plan kitchen. Halfway down the hallway, to the left, is the second bedroom with a single bed, built-in wardrobe, and a glass door covered with string curtains. The living room features a light gray loveseat, a rectangular dining table with two vintage-style wooden chairs, a large TV, side tables, and an attractive dark wood chair. It has a balcony with beautiful views over the street and the bell tower of the Convent of the Recogidas de Santa María Magdalena. This part of Pelayo Street is very quiet, which contrasts with the rest of the neighborhood streets. The kitchen is integrated into the social area and is L-shaped, white, with a stone countertop. It has complete tableware for 6 people and modern appliances (stove, extractor hood, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer). A mirror at the far end reflects the light coming in through the living room windows. Going back through the hallway to the entrance and past the second bedroom, you reach the bathrooms (first is the toilet, and next to it is the bathroom with a shower and a charming wooden vanity). At the end is the master bedroom with a 1.50m bed, a bedside table, and an antique wooden desk with a reading lamp. It has built-in wardrobes and dark curtains. At the far left of the bedroom is the closed cupboard with the washing machine and boiler. The floors are wood and the bathrooms have tiled floors with polished micro-cement walls. It's a second-floor apartment WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR.
